On the Bush from the ABM Treaty
By Caleb Parson 12-13-01

And yet the US congress approves a 300+ billion dollar anti-terrorism budget to be given to the military. What a wonderful start that that much green energy, placed in the right hands, could provide for relieving the stress and pain of the world's social injustice. In the face of a profound need for kindness and unity, George Bush is withdrawing from a weapons treaty that is not only a legally binding and important psychological restraint on our weapons of mass destruction.

If more Americans could see the need for alternative ways to solve the world's many problems through world wide human unity and brotherhood, then we shall have a peaceful world. Since that mess with Cain & Able, the use of force and military might has never yet been a force for progress and justice. To the 100 Nobel laureate signers of this warning we should look to for real leadership rather than to those who lack the vision and moral committment to posterity to find a new way of dealing with the world's ills.
