Dear Fellow citizens of planet Earth,

Well it is the midnight hour --- we may be running out of time to stop Bush ---- this time! The Hopi call this the time of the ants when the two hearted people (the technocrats) scurry around like ants do when you poke a stick in their nest. The one hearted people look for ways to join together to celebrate the sacredness of life on planet Earth.

There are more Bush fires to be put out, the war is not over yet, it is just beginning.

My predictions for this war come from the Council On Foreign Relations -- the think tank that is steering this thing and they predict a short war with Iraqi military turning against Saddam and becoming the new leaders along with the US puppet regime. In other words no change in the status quo except Saddam is gone. The end result will be the continued decimation of the indigenous people of the area. This is called the stabilization period. If you beleive in praying for people, now would be a good time to pray for the people in Iraq.

Then a rebuilding period when Iraq oil money will go to transnational corporations to set a market economy infrastructure in place.

Then the democratization of Iraq, a new constitution, voting etc.

They predict that the US will occupy Iraq for up to 6 years with the voting coming about in 2 years. I think this may not be enough time to teach the Iraqis about American Democracy. It is not enough time to teach a country how to purge voting rolls with accused felons, to teach the advantages of using the butterfly ballot, counting chards, or flat out locking boxes of ballots away in a closet. Then there is the new touch screen voting with that special software that no one can look into because of the propriatary nature of the software. This all requires a certain diablolical savvy that these innocent villagers just do not have nor will have in two short years. Perhpas Bush is planning to offer them nefarious character training.

The sad part is that this war may be over in the blink of an eye and most of our country will get back to business as usual and loose concern over the continuing march of US imperialism and the invasion of Globalization into our lives. Can you say P R I V A T I Z E ?
