US soldiers driving bulldozers, with jazz blaring from loudspeakers, have uprooted ancient groves of date palms as well as orange and lemon trees in central Iraq as part of a new policy of collective punishment of farmers who do not give information about guerrillas attacking US troops. The US military has also supplied the new Afghanistan government with bulldozers that have begun tearing down homes in Kabul - September, 2003.

Israeli Army continues to bulldoze hundreds of homes every week but farms, ancient orchards and trees. They are leveling Palestine without allowing the people to leave. This is genocide of the first order. As the world sits by and witnesses the greatest human atrocities in history there is a certain feeling of futileness gripping the heart of humanity.

Meanwhile the bulldozing continues in Palestine and Afghanistan. Why the farms? Why the food supply? Because it is a common characteristic of conquering empires to destroy the food source of the conquered. This is the 21st century and it is time for this practice to stop.
