This is from someone who recently listened to Tariq Ali speak in Seattle. I asked her what his main points in his talk.

His main points were that he thinks we invaded Iraq to show the world our muscle.
We shouldn't have disbanded the Iraqi army because they are disgruntled and we didn't get their weapons, plus they know where the hidden caches of weapons are. He made the point that we invaded Iraq, who said they had no WMDs and negotiated with N. Korea who said they had nuclear weapons and they would use them if necessary. He said everyone in the Middle East knows which country has WMDs (Israel, or course.)
He said the sanctions on Iraq increased the dependency of the Iraqis on Saddam, counter to our purposes.

My response was --- On the world affairs - Tariq is aware of the nefarious actions of our leaders - the lies we have come to know and despise. I am delighted to see the enthusiasm people have in gaining this type of awareness about our world. I hope it leads to enough enthusiasm to stop the evil-doers (Bush term). What is the bigger picture?

My point has always been that Saddam and Osama were and are on the same side as Bush. Why else would we place sanctions on the people of Iraq and bomb them for 12 years? These were the enemies of Saddam (Shiites and the Kurds) - they are like his Indians and we are clearing them out of the way to obtain their resources - just like we cleared the Indians out of the Black Hills to get the gold. This is going on all over the world ie; Columbia and Nigeria.

Why was the source of the explosives used in the Bali bombing not explored? The explosives used in that terrorist attack are only made in the US. Is anyone tracing the source of the weapons used by the terrorists? Follow the weapons trail and we may discover who is sponsoring the terrorists.

My goal is to broaden our world view to include the people that rule over the office of the president. What is their agenda, is it to seek domination of the world? In the heirarchy of power, the office of the president of the US is middle management. In discovering who is running the world Bush is only the start. We quickly go to the advisors to the president and go on up the chain of command. Understanding this heirarchy, this structure, and it makes sense that Condelezza Rice can take over for Rumsfeld in Iraq - not because she is more competent, but because she is higher up on the chain of command. So is Wolfowitz, Kissinger, and Brzezinski above all cabinet posts in the executive branch. By reading their authorings and witnessing the tenets of their writings (pre-emptive strike) we see their ideas, their agenda exercised by the US through the Bush Doctrine (The National Security Strategy). Then it becomes easy to believe that their agenda¹ for a New World Order must be taken serious.

Anyway, if we go to their desired end result and work backward we can predict what is going to happen and cut them off at the knees before they bring the entire world into their control. We fight this battle of shedding light with truth telling, and our ammunition is sharper images about what is going on in the world.

For example, Brzezinski has plans in his book, "The Chessboard Strategy," about taking over the continents of Europe and Asia. The logical next step in taking over Europe and Asia is to convert the 22 Arab countries into 4 - redraw the map on the Arab world. They would need a lot of chaos to accomplish this. But the necessary component that allows them to get away with this is CHAOS (terrorism). They are encouraging enough chaos to broaden the war to immerse more troops (in and out of the military²) into more Arab countries, then across Asia. The end result is the carving up the economic carcass of Iraq.

The countries of the coalition are getting sucked into a system of chaos that in the end will allow for the establishment of a totalitarian one world government (the New World Order). Since 9/11 they have made significant headway towrd this end; they have a long way to go with many potential flash points in which the people can object to their agenda. The next obvious flashpoint is attacking the next country -- shall we say Iran? Israel attacked Syria in October 2003, and the Syrians didn't bite. There is a pact between Syria and Iran, attack one and you attack them both. Can the people stop them before they use the US military for more of their devious plot? We shall see.

1 - agenda: a totalitarian ruthless one world government. Claimed by Bush Sr. during Gulf WarI and Tony Blair during Gulf WarII.

2 - mercenaries or paid military is what are produced form our terrorist training camps; ie the School of the Americas. The Pentagon also hires people to fight in foreign countries known as military contractors. This is a part of the privatization or outsourcing of our Army. These people are not obligated to live by the Geneva convention, are not beholding to the US Congress, and live by the orders of their CIA bosses. Assassinations, raided villages, exploding infrastructure has been their MO for decades.
