Bush Warns Congress to Approve His Judges
By Michael Tivana

George Bush warned Congressional Democrats to approve ten judges or gas prices will rise higher - (this is humor)

April 21,2005 Washington DC | George Bush in a brash move today warned Congressional Democrats to approve ten judges he has submitted for lifetime assignments to US Court of Appeals around the country. He reminded Congress of rising gasoline prices reaching historic highs this past week. Bush then lowered the hammer as he warned that gas prices will rise higher if his judges met with disapproval and America would blame them for the ensuing suffering.

The gas wars got hotter over the John Bolton approval. Bolton is nominated by Bush to be our next ambassador to the UN. In the past Bolton has said, “there is no such thing as the United Nations. There is only the international community, which can only be led by the only remaining superpower, which is the United States."

Bolton is also a member of the Project for the New American Century , which has stated, "American policy cannot continue to be crippled by a misguided insistence on unanimity in the UN Security Council."

All this disdain for the UN seems to have qualified him to be Bush’s man for the job. To back up the nomination Bush sternly told the Democrats in Congress that the prices in their lunch room food would double if he did not get approved.

One only need to remember the 2004 election to take Bush serious. Gas prices soared in the primaries, then began to relax during the conventions and plunged to $1.50 a gallon in time for the election. Since the inauguration gas prices have soared to new highs at $2.55 a gallon with projections for a barrel of oil going to over $100 if Bush does not get his way. Talk about a temper tantrum. Congress has responded by giving Bush a list of child psychologists and recommended he get an appointment immediately.

It looks like Americans are in for a long hot summer as more appointments and approvals go before Congress and the Democrat’s filibustering tool for resistance may be taken away. This summer’s heat waves will hit American’s pocket books and test our ability to tolerate arrogance and stupidity while maintaining our sense of humor.

Good Day!
