Testimony To a Monument

Andy Stephenson is a friend and an inspiration. He passed over last week and he will remain a friend and an inspiration because of what he stood for as a human being. Andy built monuments during his life, monuments of human character. Some of his character is reflected in the story of how he got his first big scoop.

He wanted to work with Bev Harris and her campaign to expose voter fraud in the US, so she gave him a tough assignment to see if he qualified. Bev was having trouble getting access to the voting records from the state of Georgia. When Andy called the registrar and asked to see the voting records for such and such an election of course the registrar said no way. Andy then appealed to her best nature by asking like this.

"I am asking you to come from your heart, tell the truth, it's for the good of your country, and please do the right thing."

The woman forked over the records and Andy did the impossible. This testament to monumental human character guides me by example in how to deal with all my relations. Come from the heart, tell and seek the truth, and do the right thing.

Thank you Andy, let's continue to work together.
