I helped start the religious right wing revolution. In 1969, I contributed as a right wing Yaffer (Young American For Freedom) and I was also a born again Christian. Since its inception I have watched the right wing movement grow into a formidable force to become a predominant influence in our world today. The current president of YAFF was on the Politically Incorrect show recently to help Bill Mahr apologize to the world for his remarks about how cowardly it was for the US to launch cruise missiles on its enemies from 2,000 away.

In the early days, the Yaffers were stunned by the way the peace activists could get thousands to their rallies while we had 6 to 10 tops at our meetings and we were talking common sense about how critical the Viet Nam war was to the security of the US. We had the Domino Theory on our side and still couldn't get it done. The born agains were just gathering their forces as they were coming out of their evengelism snake oil phase. Soon the two would join forces.

In 1970 I attended a different university, I wised-up and the world spun around 180 degrees. I saw through institution after institution and said this is WRONG! this must change. Whether it was untruths in the media or the lieing and brutal police, or graft in the hospitals I became disillusioned with our institutions. I have worked all my life to defend what freedoms we have and to restore integrity back into our institutions. It is my crusade to wage peace and fight for honor and integrity in our country and the world.

Somewhere around 1973 the religious big boys - Graham, Robertson, Falwell and more - had a conference and decided the only way they were going to win this war against the ungodly 60's counter culture was to get into politics. They went in as Republicans. They began to level the Liberal Republicans first. Nelson Rockefeller was a Liberal Republican, the last time we heard those two words together was in 1974. He was ousted through the religious right wing's pressure to not let him be the VP successor to Agnew, instead they chose Ford. He was the next president.

Their machine gained steam in the 70's but still needed some dirty tricks to win the 1980 election. Bush was a key ingredient in the arms to hold the hostages deal with Iran that tilted the patriotic tide in Reagan's favor. Patriotism and religion won that election - a significant historical fact.

Throughout the 80's the machine rolled on. Consolidating power within the Baptist church with a final takeover of power in the 1987 & 88 Baptist coventions. From then on Baptist churches that had female or gay ministers were ostricsized. Nearly 60 Baptist churches were burned during the next 5 years throughout the south. The '84 and '88 presidential elections were won with a religious fervor. From the pulpit and through television evangelism and talk radio shows, the religious right wing born agains became the largest voting block in the counrty. They still are and today represent 25 million single minded voters. Clinton's margin of victory in '92 was 5 million which is how many votes he stole from the born again voting block because he is a southern baptist.

The laws that were legislated under Reagan / Bush in the 80's set the foundation for Bush today. More on this later. Meanwhile Reagan waged an assault on the US economy, its banking system, its mid cap corporations, the independent oil drillers, the UN and the World Court. More power was thrust upon the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank and many third world countries became hopelessly in debt. The US, the richest nation in the world owes more money than any other nation and pays 20 to 25% of its income to interest. Why pay down the debt when we can get 25% or more if we can get more deficit spending is the attitude of the elite.

Still, the most significant event of the 80's was the advent of the drug war. This long time war is a precursor to today's long lasting war on terrorism and represents two things: changing bedrock laws and it showed what they can get away with. A proven fact, proven by their own testimony, is that deadly drugs were distributed in this country by the CIA. This subversion of many of our constitutional rights as citizens in a free society was unprecedented inour history and encouraged by the public. The most poignant is that since 1985 the militray can now be used for police action.

All throughout he 80's the Religious Right Wing targeted liberal congressmen to be voted out. Wicked campaigns were launched with money from TV donations and from the sales of arms to Iran, Irag and whomever was buying. Not to untwist a twisted story but the arms for hostages was in part arms for cash to overthrow left wing Senators like Church in Idaho.

The rise of power continued with the backlash vote of '94 and the rise to power of Newt Gingrich. He wasn't in power long but what he accomplished with his religious mandate was important. The manin thing is he got a law passed that limits chairmen on any house committee to one term. Thus the seats of power would not roll over and each chariman has to be replaced guaranteed. In January 2001, 13 born again Christian congressmen took over chairmanships of intregral committees in congress; effectively and legally ousting the old school true Republicans. The Religious Right Wing takeover of the Republican party is near completion. The 2000 election demonstrates what the RRW can do by controlling the Supreme Court, they have the White House, and almost the congress. Our forefathers warned about religion tied to politics and the military but they did not tell us what to do or how to stop it when it did happen. Somehow I don't think a militia with muskets will work.

In November to December the US had the election that would never end because the vote counting was disrupted by thugs threatening vote counters not unlike the Nazi brown shirt thugs of the 30's. The recount was also disrupted by court rulings, non-co-operation from Republican authorities and all covered-up in the press. In the end the vote was 5 to 4, Bush won the election by 1 vote in the US Supreme Court.

January 21,2001 - Bush Jr. takes office. The right wing rhetoric changes dramatically. Right wing talk show hosts began using phrases like terrorist Liberals and Stalinist Liberals to describe the left wing. The talk by the right wing is emboldened even more after 911 and threats are leveled to the old enemies of the Nazis, to the: criminals, the indigent, the dissidents. While others are blaming Osama bin Laden for the attacks, the leaders of the RRW leveled blame on the Liberals. Listen to what the right wing is saying and take it serious as we challenge the changing of the laws that guarantee us our freedom. If a dissident is labeled a threat and a terrorist he has no rights under the new laws and it will only take suspicion and not even a Judge's signature for a warrant.

Anyone who thinks Falwell and Robertson are not heard have their heads in the sand and must Wake Up!. The following is an email thread that shows how the common citizens are waging a war on life-styles in our own country. This dialog would be healthy if it did not have a sinnister agenda driving it. The sinnister agenda is the Religious Right Wings' desire for world dominance. Thus they are bringing it home and demonizing all that are not with them using life-styles as the dividing line.

"Food for thought when we go to the polls to vote."
This is what he sent to his daughter. I also received this a wek later form a friend who works incorporate America and he stated - "Got this message from a friend at the office."

A new School Prayer - Written by a student in Arizona

Now I sit me down in school,
Where praying is against the rule.
For this great nation under God,

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.

If you aren't ashamed to do this, please pass this on. Jesus said, " If you are ashamed of me," I will be ashamed of you before my Father."

It is not being ashamed of Jesus to heed the warning of our founding fathers to not mix government with religion. We saw what happened the last time government mixed with religion in a Christian country --- Hilter and his special brand of Christianity were able to create a world war.

There is a big RED flag that goes up when we see religion together with politics directing the military. This is a lethal brew because people do not have filters against propaganda and they are reliant on their leaders for their opinions. The people will support and trust the decisions of a few while on a path to fascism. The ingredients for the creation of fascism are: a poor economy, zealous patriotism, a religion, an enemy at home, an enemy abroad, a one-party government, subordination of the individual by secret police and a military state, rigid censorship. Given the tragic event of the WTC fascism is on a roll in the US. We that oppose fascism and the mixing of religion and politics are honoring the wisdom of our founding fathers and represent those that know better than to let this happen.

Now we have crossed the line and have Church and state directing the military in a Christian Holy war.
I am a Christian, but not the right kind of Christian and I am afraid ----- I do not intend to die in a Holy war fighting for a fascist state.

People are now easily swayed and the propaganda coming over the radio is astoundingly against those parts of our society that raise any doubt about what our leaders are proclaiming and doing. History tells us what happened in Nazi Germany to the Germans that did not agree. Those people were the unproductive, indigent, criminals, gays, artists, dissidents, Gypsies, and Jews. They were the ones that occupied the deternment camps. Note: the Jews were the last to go. Most were told it was for their own safety. This was made easier because the Brown Shirts were beating them up.

Seeing the current frenzy around the patriotic mix of religion, politics and military, I am not surprised that the common US citizen disuages their fellow Americans. The groundwork has been laid for a cultural civil war as Mr. Heston is currently calling it and it might get ugly as the evangelical Christians get more and more confident.

The current situation has created a climate for more of these poems, more articles like Andrea Peysor's and more hatred for all those that oppose them not less. "You are either with us or you are with the terrorists." - George Bush 9-17-01

Watch for increasing right wing rhetoric against the UN, the World Court, the Liberal Media (any media that disagrees with them), the poor and the indigent (unproductive), criminals (human refuse), blacks (todays Jews), and to a lesser degree: intellectuals (liberal college professors), feminists, pagans, hippies, punks. Anyone gaining any popularity with these people or anyone sounding like they question what is happening will be instantly burned at the stake on Right Wing talk radio shows, like they are currently doing to Peter Jennings.

It was no surprise to see this rhetoric about the UN by Andrea Peyser because the UN is one of the last big hurdles to world domination for the RRW.

The dissidents in Europe and here in the US are of little worry yet. The republicans are still cleaning their own house coming up with the anachronim "RINO" - meaning- Republican In Name Only, meaning that if you are a Republican and you do not vote the RRW party line then you are a RINO and an outcast and you can Kiss your political career good-bye. The homeland security will go into action soon and we will see what happens to the leaders of the dissidents. IRS audits and property confiscation are the ways they fight the drug war and this will probalby be how they will fight the war on the dissidents.

There are still some congress people willing to fight for our freedom, but unless there is a huge uproar and good press on a massive scale then this is as close as we will get to living out our lives in a free country. It is time to WAGE PEACE on a scale that the world has never seen. It is time for the people to take control of our governments - it is NOT a time to follow them blindly into fascism.
