Iraq 2

The Iraq War is a test of the will of the human spirit. The people of the world are challenged to reach a peace that will break the centuries old mentality of colonialism. Will the international community allow a stronger nation to colonize a weaker one? Will the people of Iraq establish new ways to find a lasting peace? Will the Iraqis have true liberty and establish their own country? The answers to these and other questions and the future of our world hang in the balance.

The victorious leader visits the front lines.

"You see people who are tasting, for the first time in their lives, what freedom is." - Rumsfeld

to the victor .....

... go the spoils. Burning oil wells.

Mass grave in Sadr City. Saddam is gone, will peace be long?

The CIA guarding a Baghdad bank. In 2003 an international banking consotrium took over Iraqi banking. Now the Iraqis are slvaes to foreign money.

The Baghdad Museum was the looting of our humanity's core. The US Army seemed more interested in catching looters and not the robbers. The theft of the large artifacts in the basement required a crane to remove and it all happened overnight under the watch of the US Army. Worse was the theft of all the paperwork describing them. The tens of thousands of missing artifacts taken from the Baghdad Museum was reduced to a few hundred and tivialized in America's media.

Angry Baghdad residents voice their protest outside the Palestine Hotel. The Iraqi people are saying, "let us form our own country".

Round up the men, question them, bring them in, then humiliate them.

Enduring the new freedom. How long.....can the people endure?

The truth is under siege at the Palestinian Hotel.

Tell this father that America has liberated his family.

Tell the people that Uday and Usay are dead.

Here they are, honest, it's them, the evil-doers, and a lot of plastic putty. The wicked witch has melted. You can come out now.

You are safe now, Saddam and his two sons aren't terrorizing you anymore.

But what is this? It must be those Saddam sympathizers, those Fedayeen, those insurgents, those irregulars. The belligerent thugs must be rounded up and punished - collectively.

With this much irregularity, when do you send in the pepto bismal?

A burning military truck on the outskirts of Baghdad June 19, 2003.

A roadside bomb destroyed a U.S. military Humvee west of Baghdad, wounding three Americans.

The funerals result in revenge.

War means senseless death on both sides. How do we promote peace not war? We can begin by dispelling the myths of war .....

Our US troops patrolling in Kosovo. We cannot forget that the War on Terror is in many countries. When we forget and do not protest its evil, we allow it to continue to spread.

The celebration of life is what the Peace movement is standing for.

The covenant of God comes in the rainbow after the storm has passed.
