When George "Poppy" Bush ran for president in 1988 and 1992 there were little warning signs of a right-wing connection, but few paid them much attention. In the 1988 campaign it surfaced that one of Bush's campaign staffers was a distributor of pro-Nazi propaganda. Before the ink was dry on the culprit's resignation, further revelations followed that there were several ex-Nazis on Bush's campaign staff, including Laszlo Pastor and Yaroslav Stetsko. Pastor was a member of the Hungarian Arrow Cross during World War II, a pro-Nazi military order known for its excessive brutality. Stetsko served as the prime minister of the short-lived Nazi Ukrainian puppet government. During his brief reign more than 100,000 Jews were slaughtered in Lvov.
His hiring Fred Malek, a well-known Nazi collaborator, for both his presidential campaigns, further emphasized George Bush's insensitivity towards victims of the Holocaust.
Upon winning the presidency in one of the dirtiest campaigns in memory, Poppy Bush placed his assets in a blind trust headed by his close friend William Stamps Farish III. That appointment should have raised a red flag. Farish's grandfather, William Stamps Farish I, was a war profiteer during World War II. In defiance of the American embargo, Farish sold the Japanese the aviation gas used in the Pearl Harbor attack. The elder Farish also supplied Hitler's war machine with oil and tetraethyl lead. Senator Prescott Bush, Poppy Bush's father, was a close friend of the elder Farish. Even after his testimony before Harry Truman's committee on waste and fraud in the war industry prompted Senator Truman to cry, "This is treason!" Farish remained a Bush intimate.
In fact, during the war Prescott himself had three companies seized from him for trading with the Germans in wartime. But he was not just trading with the Nazis - he was financing them and helping to arm them. Even acting in collusion with their policies of slave labor and extermination.
To fully understand this web connecting the Bush family with the Holocaust, it's necessary to first examine the period immediately after World War I. The Great War marked the crack-up of empires and monarchies in a colossal military debacle. In 1916, in a supreme bid for victory, the Western Front exploded in two bloody fiascos - Verdun and the Somme - in which 1.5 million men lost their lives to gain a few hard-won feet of muddy soil. The shattered armies withdrew to nurse their wounds; there were no more large offensives on the Western Front until 1918.
By the fall of 1916, German industrialist August Thyssen-nicknamed the "Rockefeller of the Ruhr"- had concluded that Germany would lose the war. He needed a strategy to protect his fortune in the coming era of defeat and instability. Thyssen had two sons. Thyssen's eldest son Fritz had been groomed to run the family steel business in the Ruhr. Thyssen's second son, Heinrich, discreetly acquired Hungarian citizenship by marrying the Hungarian Baroness Margrit Bornemisza de Kaszon. Near the end of the war, in Rotterdam, August Thyssen opened the Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart, and installed Heinrich (now going by the name of Baron Thyssen Bornemisza de Kaszon) as the principal owner. Since Holland had been neutral during the war, the new bank could serve to launder funds from the Thyssen Bank in Berlin and thus protect the family fortune from being seized as reparations by the Allies. Later the laundered funds could be returned to Germany as seed capital for new industrial ventures. All that remained to complete August Thyssen's plan was to set up an American bank to thoroughly disguise his ownership.
After defeat, years of punitive war reparations imposed by the Allies, a failed socialist revolution, and spiraling inflation, Germany's economy lay in ruins by 1922. It was just at this time that W. Averill Harriman came to Germany to set up a branch of W.A. Harriman, his Wall Street investment firm, in Berlin. Harriman had hired George Herbert Walker - George W. Bush's maternal grandfather - to run both the New York and Berlin branches of the expanding firm. During his stay in Germany Harriman had met the Thyssen family and agreed to help them set up an American bank.
It was also about this time that the elder Thyssen met with his friend General Ludendorff, Germany's second-in-command during the war, who advised that Germany's future lay with Hitler and the Nazi Party. Following Ludendorff's suggestion Thyssen soon became a financial backer of the Nazis and Hitler. Then, early in 1924, Hendrick J. Kouwenhoven, Managing Director of Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart, traveled to New York. Together with George Herbert Walker and the Harriman brothers, he founded the Union Banking Corporation there.
In 1926, August Thyssen died. His eldest son, Fritz, expanded the Thyssen empire by creating the United Steel Works, a huge trust formed by merger with Friedrich Flick. The Thyssen-Flick entente was designed to suppress the union movement and exercise near-monopoly control of the market. Union Banking floated a $50M bond issue to finance the empire and as a result of the merger, George Herbert Walker hired his son-in-law Prescott Bush to manage the United Steel Works account as the Twenties roared into their final years.
Back on the Continent, United Steel Works formed a sprawling conglomerate with production facilities in many countries. One of its divisions consisted of the Consolidated Silesian Steel Corporation and the Upper Silesian Coal and Steel Company, both located in the mineral-rich Silesia district in Poland. The arrangement proved profitable for all four principals - Thyssen, Flick, Walker and Bush - until the economic collapse of 1929. As the Depression set in, Harriman merged with Brown Brothers, forming Brown Brothers, Harriman. The stock of Consolidated Silesian Steel was held by the Harriman 15 Corporation, controlled by Harriman and Bush, but actually two thirds of the stock was owned by Flick. Despite the economic slump, the partners had erected an industrial powerhouse, and relief was not long in coming.
Taking advantage of stubborn economic distress and an unruly situation which they did their best to turn to chaos, the Nazis swept to power in 1933. Two Americans were present during the secret meeting of the German elite that gave Hitler the nod: Allen and John Foster Dulles.
Hitler lost little time before staging a fake Communist-led putsch (the Reichstag fire) which served as an excuse for seizing dictatorial power and starting Germany's march to police statehood. By 1934, with Hitler in firm control and hastening to rearm, United Steel Works profits soared to over a hundred million dollars. Both Union Banking and the Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart were awash in cash. And they used it to further pump up the sinews of war and oppression for the Nazis. Postwar Congressional investigations showed that United Steel had supplied 50.8 percent of Nazi Germany's pig iron plus a substantial part of the other ferrous-metal products for Hitler's war machine. Thus, in fact, one of the largest munitions makers in Nazi Germany was founded and funded by Prescott Bush, the patriarch of the Bush political dynasty, which has so far included two U.S. Presidents.
In the early Thirties, Thyssen and Flick sold their interests in Consolidated Steel to Union Banking. Now under the complete control of Harriman and Bush, Consolidated changed its name to Silesian American Corporation, part of the Harriman 15. In the late Thirties, Bush became managing director of Union Bank and took over the day-to-day operations of the German investments. As it became clear that war was coming, Bush and Harriman hired the Dulles brothers-Allen and John Foster- to camouflage the Nazi stake in Union Banking. Even as they concealed their close dealings with the Nazis, Prescott Bush and Harriman must have known that their activities were both illegal and contrary to the best of interests of their country.
Nonetheless, Union Banking was but one of many Nazi front corporations overseas. In fact, the U.S. economy was honeycombed with concealed Nazi assets. Using a maze of shell corporations (often based in Switzerland) to cloak their ownership, Nazi-front corporations operated in many countries outside the Third Reich. In fact, they were an integral part of the Germans' battle plan. The Nazis even had a word for it: tarnung, or camouflage. The principal use of tarnung entities was to wage economic warfare by creating artificial production bottlenecks to distress the enemies of the Reich.
Then, in September 1939, there came the stunning announcement of a nonaggression pact between Hitler and Stalin. Secret annexes to the Soviet-Nazi Pact carved up Poland into two zones of occupation. Within days the Wehrmacht invaded western Poland, which among other things ended a dispute over taxes between Consolidated and the Polish government. Poland collapsed after a month of furious blitzkrieg. The Red Army rolled in from the east to occupy its portion.
The Nazis soon set up a large forced-labor camp near the Polish town of Oswiecim, where Consolidated Silesian Steel Corporation's plant was also located. Near Oswiecim (Auschwitz in German) there were abundant deposits of coal suitable for processing into aviation fuel. The Nazis originally had intended to staff all Polish factories with Soviet prisoners. However, that was one proviso of the Soviet-Nazi Pact which was never implemented. When the plan to use Soviet prisoners as forced labor fell through, the Nazis began shipping Jews, Communists, gypsies, homosexuals, and members of other minority populations to the camp. This was the genesis of Auschwitz, Germany's most notorious death camp.
I.G. Farben soon built a chemical plant near Auschwitz to take advantage not only of the nearby coal seams but also of the slave labor available from the camp. According to a Dutch intelligence agent, Prescott Bush was the manager of a portion of the slave labor force there at this time.
At its peak, more than forty firms clustered around Auschwitz to take advantage of the slave labor. Soon the Nazis had a massive store of gold from looted dental fillings, spectacles and jewelry. The SS began routinely extracting the fillings of their victims after being assured by Degussa G.M.B.H. that the company could refine dental fillings into marketable gold bullion. Degussa was awarded an exclusive contract with the Nazis to refine all the gold.† Due to the backlog of gold fillings stacking up at Auschwitz, Degussa built a smelter right at the camp. The refined bullion was shipped back to Berlin and commingled with the Nazis' gold hoard.
On December 7, 1941, the Japanese devastated Pearl Harbor in a brilliant sneak attack. America
*Two of the directors of Union Banking, Groninger and Kouwenhoven, were Nazi directors of the Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart, formerly the von Heydt Bank. Von Heydt was also a Nazi and has been identified as the intermediary between the Guaranty Trust and Adolf Hitler. Both Groninger and Kouwenhoven contributed lavishly to Himmler's Circle of Friends.
†Degesch, the firm that manufactured the Zyklon-B cyanide tablets used in the gas chambers, was jointly owned by Degussa and I.G. Farben Undoubtedly some of it made its way back to the banker in charge of United Steel Works, Prescott Bush.
declared war on Japan. Not waiting for the inevitable, Hitler declared war on America first, miscalculating as he had when invading Russia in June of that year, and fatally tipping the balance against himself at last. The American Congress was only too willing to return Hitler's compliment. Days later, on Dec. 13, F.D.R. signed the Trading With the Enemy Act, which made Prescott Bush's activities on behalf of the Nazis clearly treasonous.*
During the summer of '42, the New York Tribune exposed Thyssen and Bush, whom it dubbed "Hitler's angel." On October 20, 1942, the United States government seized Union Banking under the Trading with the Enemy Act. Union Banking's books revealed its Nazi ownership and unmasked other tarnung entities. U.S. officials realized they had only exposed the tip of the iceberg. On November 17, 1942, the government seized Silesian American Corporation and placed its operation under the Government Alien Property Custodian's office.
Nor did Bush's collaboration with the Nazis stop with profiting from belongings looted from death camp inmates: the corporations under his management were involved in legitimizing Nazi looting of art and national treasures in conquered countries. For example, after the war authorities seeking to locate the Dutch crown jewels discovered the transaction papers in the vault of the Silesian American Corporation and recorded in the books of Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart. The bank manager, H.J. Kounhoven, came under intense scrutiny and professed shock at the discovery. Soon Kounhoven traveled to New York to inform Prescott Bush.* Two weeks later, the heretofore healthy Dutch banker suddenly died of a heart attack. Perhaps coincidentally, the apparent heart attack was the method of choice employed to liquidate troublesome individuals by the Gehlen Organization (some 350 Nazi spies hired as a unit to spy on the Soviets for the U.S.). The SS had perfected an undetectable method of inducing heart attacks, and it was likely imported when, just after war's end, General Reinhard Gehlen contributed to training American OSS operatives in Virginia.‡
On February 8, 1951, Fritz Thyssen died in Argentina. On news of his death, the Alien Property Custodian in New York released the assets of the Union Banking Corporation to Brown Brothers Harriman. The remaining shareholders quietly cashed out. Prescott Bush received $.75 million in Union Banking blood money. He used part of the money to further his political career, serving for 11 years as U.S. Senator from Connecticut.†
In his first run for the Senate, Prescott Bush had been defeated after his position within the eugenics movement was disclosed. George "Poppy" Bush later followed in his father's footsteps, not scorning his old family connections with the Nazis. As chairman of the Republican Party, he presided over the formation of Republican Ethnic Heritage groups nationwide. This program was often a reward for Nazi collaborators from Eastern Europe for their help in electing Nixon in 1968 and '72. When two or more ethnic communities were vying for control over a particular group, the group with close ties to the Nazis invariably won out. Poppy "Bush 41" to his *Dutch authorities date this meeting soon after Christmas 1947.
‡When recruited by Foster Dulles, the Gehlen Organization became effectively the Eastern European branch of the CIA; Gehlen himself went on to become the chief of West German intelligence (the BND), retiring in 1968.
†Bush lost in 1950, then succeeded to a vacant seat when Connecticut's Sen. McMahon died in office in 1952. Re-elected in 1956, the elder Bush served until 1963; died of cancer in 1972.
Perhaps it was for his belief in eugenics that George I appointed General Draper as his expert on population matters. Or perhaps it was to reward Draper's past services to the Bush family. A rabid racist and member of the Eugenics Society, Draper was also a former employee of Dillion and Reed, a large Wall Street brokerage house that had floated the biggest German bond issues, including one for United Steel Works. When the one-time general was appointed as the postwar economic czar of occupied Germany, he found himself ideally situated to protect the assets of his former clients, including Prescott Bush.
Poppy Bush was a member of the international power-play club from the beginning. He was Skull and Bones at Yale, flew a bomber in World War II, and had a successful career as an oilman in Texas before turning to politics full-time in the Seventies. Bush served as CIA chief and Republican Party Chairman and ran unsuccessfully for president before becoming Ronald Reagan's Vice President for eight years-a post in which he masterminded a number of illegal quasi-governmental operations, including the Iran-Contra Affair in which the CIA traded illegal drugs for cash used to purchase and deliver Congressionally banned weapons to Iran in exchange for hostages, and Congressionally banned military aid to the CIA-sponsored guerrilla army fighting a bloody civil war against the legitimately constituted leftist government of Nicaragua.
Bush went on to prove his mettle after being elected president in 1988. When the Soviet bloc collapsed the following year, he and his Pentagon advisors charted out a course of short, victorious wars on the blitzkrieg model waged against much weaker enemies to enrich the armaments industry, enhance the prestige of the U.S. military, and add points to the presidential polls. Favored targets included strong men installed in the Third World with U.S. and CIA influence, who finally proved more useful as straw men than as strong men. Manuel Noriega and Saddam Hussein both experienced the phenomenon of being turned upon by the world's richest and mightiest country by the time Bush had been in office for two years. Military glory could not save Poppy from unpopularity arising from a weak economy, embarrassing race riots, and a series of public gaffes which called into question his capacity to govern. He was defeated in the 1992 election by Bill Clinton and retired to serve as a salesman and senior manager for the Carlyle Group, an investment pool of ultra-wealthy players initially concentrated in the defense sector.
So what of George W. Bush, widely seen as a wild man with his finger on the button, both inside the U.S. and internationally?
He started off innercently enough. After being appointed president following the confused election of 2000, Bush paid lip service to humility and of bipartisanship, but proceeded to act as though he had a thundering mandate from the electorate instead of a sketchy plurality. Humility and bipartisanship were barely detectable in policy or appointments. Neither were mercy or compassion, despite his honeyed campaign pledges.
But that is par for the course in the looking-glass world of 21st century America. If you want to find out what the Bush Administration is up to, listen to their public pronouncements, then calculate the exact opposite. Just as the fascists of the Thirties indulged in "the Big Lie," this Administration lies big, it lies frequently, and it lies insolently. The lies are amplified and repeated over and over after being accepted uncritically by the media. Though the government knows we know they're lying, it just doesn't care. Seldom have the people been treated with more contempt.
Ours has become a government by empty symbolism. Instead of action, we get photo ops, with the televised signing of a bill to meet a need, usually accompanied by a sympathetic member of the public who will benefit-never mind that the funding is never provided to realize government's empty promises. The feel-good image of our handsome president bestowing favors lingers on the collective retina. Who would have the heart-or the stamina-to wade through all the accounting tricks used to conceal the fraud, or bust the government officials for their layers of elaborate lies and cover-ups? As their programs are stripped away bit-by-bit, the poor and the middle class slip ever deeper into poverty and apathy, while the Pentagon and the global corporations which own their government swell with obscene profits.
If the photo op ceremonies are the window-dressing of concern for ordinary people, the profiteering at the public expense is the true activity of Bush's junta; a scene justly described by Ariana Huffington as "Pigs At the Trough." As he did as Texas governor, G.W. Bush has instituted radical reforms in reverse which tilt the scales decidedly against the common people and in favor of America's plutocrats. There's a clear pattern to these reforms: the restoration of robber-baron capitalism, combining the ethics of the 1870s with today's whiz-bang technology. Bush and his political strategist, Karl Rove, have opened the floodgates for an orgy of speculation, environmental degradation, shameless labor exploitation, and unbridled greed. They do not foster the best in the American character by gutting regulatory agencies, winking at corruption, and appointing foxes to guard the proverbial henhouses.
This leaves America's richest citizens a free hand to consider their next moves in pursuing their main objective: finding ever more clever ways to turn the United States of America into a racket to enrich themselves by fleecing everyone else. With the Bush tax cuts targeted at the very wealthy, the elimination of whole categories of taxation (estate tax, dividend tax) and the intentional squeezing of social program funding caused by decreased revenues, sky-high military spending and unprecedented government borrowing, Bush is setting up a train of circumstances which will lead to the dismantling of the welfare state-"starving the beast," as it is called by Grover Norquist, a prominent neo-con ideologue.
And the "War on Terrorism" is just the keystone to the whole con; the all-purpose excuse for radical reforms which bleed America white to pay for military extravagance while starving education, health and other social services, which are increasingly privatized and made a source of profit for members of the Bushes' plutocratic club.
Whatever your beliefs on the exact responsibility for the 9-11 events-whether you believe the CIA planned and executed the whole operation, that the U.S. government knew it was going to happen and let it happen for reasons of its own, or that it was a heartless attack of fanatics on a too-trusting free nation- you must concede that it has been turned to the advantage of Bush and the neo-conservatives. The horror of 9-11 has enabled them to create and exploit a climate of fear in America. Just as in the election of 2000 and its aftermath, they have been able to "blow smoke" by invoking the images of terror and pointing to government busy-work created in response. Watching the media's reciting the words government puts in anchor persons' mouths, the vast public is not paying attention to government's sleight-of-hand: while the feel-good and feel-frightened images flicker on the blue screen, the Administration plunges ahead with relentless power-grabbing, relentless profiteering, relentless manipulation of the media to distract the public from their true agenda and activities. Was the terror attack of 9-11 as it has been portrayed by the President, a stroke from a crazed group of fanatics who hate Americans "because they have a free and open society?"
Or was the 9-11 tragedy America's Reichstag fire? Was the USA PATRIOT Act the enabling act for another form of fascist government? Granted, the style is different; it's American. Not so crude as the original Nazis. There's no sieg-heiling, no brown uniforms, no storm troopers. They've accomplished everything with mind control through the TV, and an extensive police presence to intimidate the doubtful. Yet the parallels are chilling.
Fascism is defined as "a system of government characterized by a dictatorship of the extreme right and a close partnership between government and business in which they virtually act as one. Fascism is characterized by militarism and flag-waving, and by a swaggering, bellicose style expressed in military adventurism."
Does this sound like any country you've been in lately? You might quibble about the term "dictatorship," but I say again: Don't listen to what they say, watch what they do. Have you noticed their appointments to the courts? Have you noticed their respect for the law in general? Did you know that Bush has quietly filed to repeal the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which would render him immune to penalties for declaring martial law?
Fascist thugs have subverted some of the world's greatest nations before, with their people going along out of fear at first. By the time the people started to realize the nature of the beast, it was already firmly on their backs, a deadly parasite that sucked out millions of lives and devoured countless fortunes before its demise.
The U.S. is a nation that, for all its faults, has inspired and led through its ideal of freedom, shared a freewheeling popular culture with appeal around the globe, and been a mighty engine of prosperity. God forbid that this great nation should turn its back on justice and international cooperation, should betray all it has stood for and willfully kick to pieces the very structure of international cooperation which has made it great. God forbid that America become the new aggressor, one armed with weaponry none can match, and reduce a world of relative prosperity to endless war, pollution, fear and hardship in the name of "security." No consumer's gasoline supply, no billionaire's portfolio could justify this crime. No true patriot should submit to the trampling of America's national honor in the mud. War for profit? Blood for oil? Is that not what America has just done? There is blood is on your hands and mine, all who paid taxes to fund this latest war. What new horrors lie ahead?
America seems poised to become an empire of fear, frosted with gaudy consumption, with apocalyptic Christianity its state religion. Daily life will resonate with an undertone of McCarthyist hysteria, and every night a sham democracy will be acted out on the telly, while ordinary citizens are locked out of any real power and decisions are made by an increasingly secretive cabal of officials and businesspeople, without reference to popular will. As for the malcontents - well, what are all those newly privatized prisons for?
Is this the legacy America wishes to leave behind? How will America be painted in the history books of tomorrow-as a fair republic which endured stormy times and emerged true to its principles of freedom, fairness and opportunity, or as a mean-spirited racketeer's rampage foisted on the people, and a harsh imperial order visited on the peoples of the world? Will the U.S.A. be compared with the decadent Roman Empire and the European fascist dictatorships? Will we be remembered as Bedford Falls or Potterville?
It is unthinkable that the Land of the Free should stumble down the path to fascism and empire. It is contrary to all the principles the Founding Fathers (and Mothers) fought for. The American people cannot permit such an ignominious end to the great experiment launched in 1787. It is time for all true American patriots to wake up, to toil as never before to rescue the nation, and to breathe new life into our democracy before it's too late. The greater threat lies not with foreign fanatics (nasty as they are); it's our own un-elected government that's rampaging out of control, knocking down the pillars of constitutional rule as fast as the bulldozer will back and fill.
The ordinary citizen may have to strain a bit to envision a fascist America. After all, this is our country, not Italy or Germany. The omnipresent banners are the familiar Stars and Stripes and not the hateful swastika flag. The style is smooth, controlled, boring, soothing; in fact, it's just what we've become accustomed to watching television all these years-why, the very presence of the familiar anchors' perky faces lulls us into the illusion that these are just normal times in the U.S.A., a seamless continuation of what has come before. Bush wears a business suit, not a uniform (except on certain occasions). He certainly lacks Hitler's passion as a speaker; instead of Sturm und Drang he gives off a certain low-key charm, at least in public. Yet the parallels are unmistakable. Reread the definition of fascism. Does it not ring true?
There are also a few key differences from the Forties fascists: Our neo-con junta has an arsenal of weapons the Nazis could only dream of, a propaganda machine that would have made Goebbels drool, and a military budget approaching $500 billion a year (by a strange coincidence, almost exactly the value of the FY 2004 budget deficit). For decades the U.S. has been building up its stockpile of armaments, by itself accounting for more than one third of world military spending every year,* so there is no other military power remotely able to challenge the U.S. Based on evidence to date, do the Bushies have any scruples about completing the looting of the country and the plunder of the planet? Or using our military, staffed by our sons and daughters, to enforce it? Or lying about the reasons for going to war? Not on your life.
Americans, be very afraid.
Be very active.
Our freedom depends on it. The future direction of the world depends on us too.
*One reason we don't have national health insurance, low-income housing, decent public transportation, public prenatal care, or first-rate public education in the U.S. (among other things).

Finally, just when you thought the media had decided to keep letting the Bush administration write the news, along comes an AP wire with the headline that Bush's grandfather was linked to the Nazis. So far the only mainstream newspaper that has printed the full details is the New Hampshire Gazette. Congratulations to them. As for the AP wire, it tries to "spin" the story and put as much distance as possible between Prescott Bush and the Nazis. However, readers of Indy Media know better. They were able to read about Senator Prescott Bush's dealings with the Nazis last January when the following article was first published.
After five years of researching the fascist connection in America (during which the researchers were often considered crazy) the mainstream press has now vindicated us. While I'm gratified to see this story finally breaking nationwide, I am concerned that the full extent of fascism in America will remain unexamined. Prescott Bush's banking ties to the Nazis (detailed in the AP report) really were only the tip of the iceberg. The story of fascism in America and the Bush family's ties to the Nazis is far deeper and more sinister. To disclose the full story of the Bush family's connections to the Nazis is to open up some of the most hideous realms of human behavior.

He was a strong advocate of eugenics, the pseudo-science of race on which Hitler's racial theories were based in part. In fact, Prescott's racist views were handed down to his son George Herbert Walker Bush, familiarly known as "Poppy." In 1969, Poppy had some very disparaging words to say about black babies while using his position in the UN to advocate population control. Like father, like son: Poppy's son George W. has surrounded himself with members the Project for a New American Century, who wrote Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century. This document identifies genome-specific bioweapons as being politically useful-in effect, advocating genocidal warfare. While population control is a laudable goal, in the hands of the Bush family it can become a tool of genocide, which is ironic considering their oft-stated concern for the "rights of the unborn." Is the message that birth control and sex ed are unacceptable means of population control, but poverty, malnutrition, and epidemics - with occasional resort to more drastic methods - are just fine in their place?
The Bush family's connection to the Nazis extends through three generations and spans more than half a century, as detailed in the paper below. At least one of the children from the Finders case has identified Poppy Bush as buying the services of a young boy for a night. Candy Jones has identified Dick Cheney as one of her abusers when she was in the program.
Poppy Bush's presidential campaign staff employed known Nazis, at least one of whom faced indictment as a war criminal. These connections between the Bush family and the Nazis, as well as with American fascism in general, require examination in the mainstream press.
