Santiago Chile
The pro-Chavez people in Venezuela. Chavez is very outspoken against Globalization and the Free Trade Americas Agreement (FTAA), the War on Terror and the US. He trades openly with Cuba and has formed a South American oil cartel with Gerazil, Ecuador and Trinidad.
The landless rural workers movement in Brazil is gaining some power and people have been moving onto the land again. Globalization often forces people off the land and into the cities as it gets developed and exploited in the name of progress.
Buenos Aires, Argentina. The one time poster child for Globalization's Market Economy is now home to millions of angry people. Unemployment soared fo 21 - 40%, inflation was over 20%/yr, and the elite bankers still wanted more to pay off their archaic 20% compound interest loans so they grabbed the workers pensions. This was the last straw as millions protested, had food riots, burned the banks and took down the government in three days.
Enough Hunger read the signs.
Making noise, the people were hungry and they rioted to get food. Are food riots a sign of things to come? Will it take world hunger to motivate enough people to make changes in our system and stop the Market Economy?
Buenos Aires, Argentina - destroying the US war machine. Too bad the rest of the world doesn't see the US as liberators. Would the difference be free press?
Argentina - the people appear more vocal than the peace rallies we have in the US.
Quito, Ecuador - mocking the whole blood for oil scam.

Calling the US fascist cowards in Brazilia
Bogata, Columbia
Santiago, Chile - calling the US baby killers.
In Brazil they are big on calling Bush a Fascist dictator. What would lead them to think this? Why is this poster very popular in Brazil? Would it be that they owe the IMF $245 billion; the most IMF debt in the world and a fraction of this debt is what was actually barrowed the vast moajority is compound interest. Brazil might be next in defaulting on its IMF loan after Argentina.
Lima, Peru - Bush Genocide reads the sign. This is a middle class woman from Peru that is saying this. What does she know about the United States that Americans do not? And in the backgorund, why is Bush in effigy with devil horns? Is the evil empire image we want to be seen as?
Santiago, Chile - it must be legal to burn another country's flag.
Sao Paulo, Brazil - here is a solution, the women of each country (Iraq and the US) get together and run things for awhile.
