A country is ultimately judged by how they treat their prisoners.
The Abu Graib Prison
The Pentagon claims the abuse at the Abu Graib prison in Iraq is an isolated incident.
Here is the Geneva Convention Treaty on how the world wants prisoners of war kept.

I don't think they had a hot meal on the way.
"They made us get into an armored troop transport, and there they began to beat us up," said the young engineer. He was walking by a car that was being searched at a US Marine check point. Suddenly they found a gun in the glove box and the Marines began grabbing every male in the area. He spent 16 days in prison and now he is registered as "enemy prisoner of war" # 8,122.
Orphans, childless fathers,
bulldozed homes, terrified people, Iraq prisoners tortured? Is America the hero that liberated Iraq? Dont' these people know how to act when liberated? DOn't they know that they are supposed to quit fighting and start shopping? WalMart has been open for months now.
The Generals tell the troops that the Iraqis will only respect you if you are forceful. I can understand the right wing supporting the Iraqi torture chambers because they do not want the world to love US, they want the world to fear the US. What kind of weak moral fiber this creates; and moral fiber is the defining quality of civilization.
All in the name of the Good God.

US troops out of Falluja, old regime in. This marks an historic day for peace in our world as the dogs of war are called off of the deadly massacre of the occupied people of Falluja, Iraq. This article has comments from the world leaders that helped make this happen / with images. The irony is the old army, the toppled regime are now the saviors of this grand debacle. The Marines pulled out but are lay waiting on the outskirts of town if the weapons are not turned over. The world waits the tenuous pause between the US Army and the rebels fighting in their own homes.
Bush bites the bullet on this one.
The War On Terror is a fantasy!
